Breakups can always cause people to become depressed. There are many times where a breakup can help to make someone realize that they can not fix a bad relationship. Some people do not realize that they had a bad relationship until they break up and can look back and think about what really went on. There are some people who use food for comfort after something sad happens to them. Women often gain wait because they use food as their emotional crutch. Eating will not fix a bad relationship. Eating foods that are bad for the body and gaining weight will only make someone feel worse about themselves. Exercise is a great way to deal with the depression that comes with a break up. Even when you feel horrible exercise can get your body to feeling better which can in turn make your mood better. It can be difficult to get over an ex but it is better to get over them in a healthy way rather than a way that will be causing harm to your body. By giving yourself an outlet you will be giving yourself a chance to think about other things rather than just sitting around being depressed about your breakup.
